Portrait of Kevin Moyo. Kevin kindly took part in Portrait of Kevin Moyo.

Kevin kindly took part in my "When in Manchester" series. We had a very friendly conversation and we also had a chance to talk about Italy – there is a very interesting Italian twist in Kevin's life, as he spent a few months in Le Marche region while playing basketball for Virtus Basket Porto San Giorgio. He says that he misses fried calamari!

Yet another opportunity to meet Mancunians from all walks of life, for which I am so grateful.

Hello Manchester friends! On Wednesday 8th, for In Hello Manchester friends!
On Wednesday 8th, for International Women’s Day, don't miss "Emmeline - The Suffragette Movement" at the Waterside Arts Theatre. My good friend David Furlong is in the play – that's why I am posting a portrait I took of him.
"Emmeline" (by Beatrice Hyde, directed by Anastasia Revi) follows the journey of the inspirational leader of the Suffrage movement on her life’s mission to achieve the vote for women. Delving into the dynamics of the Pankhurst family, Emmeline explores the tensions that arose between her and her daughter Sylvia on militant tactics and social values, emblematic of the conflicts that divided the movement.
