It's from David Little, one of the several Mancunians who have kindly agreed to pose for my series of urban portraits "When in Manchester" @_when.in.manchester I took his portrait in Seymour Park, Old Trafford. The BW portrait for the "When in Manchester" series will be released at a later date, but I also took this one, in colour, which I love. Retired police officer Asif Hussain is one of th Retired police officer Asif Hussain is one of the several Mancunians who have kindly agreed to pose for my series of urban portraits "When in Manchester" @_when.in.manchester He offered to take me to places that had a strong connection with his work as an officer on the beat. He was very generous in driving me around Greater Manchester while sharing so many interesting stories of cops and robbers – and more... We stopped in Openshaw where I took a few environmental BW portraits for the "When in Manchester" series (which will be released at a later date) and also a few more informal ones, in colour, like this one. These days Asif is frequently cast as a police officer or prison officer in films and ads – given his past, his performances are definitely credible!
